1/4 cup(s) elderflower concentrate
3 tablespoon(s) sugar
12 large sage leaves
1 bottle(s) (750 ml) sauvignon blanc
2 peaches, ripe
1/2 cup(s) raspberries
Directions
To make white sangria, stir elderflower concentrate, sugar, and sage leaves with 750ml of sauvignon blanc. Add two sliced ripe peaches and raspberries. Let fruit mascerate 2 hours before serving.

I HEART TWINKIES RECIPE FOR TWO
INGREDIENTS:
3 Tbsp seedless red raspberry jam
1 cup fresh raspberries
2 Twinkies snack cakes
PREPARATION:
1. Stir jam and 1 Tbsp water in a bowl until smooth. Add raspberries; toss gently to coat.
2. Cut Twinkies in half diagonally, starting about 1 in. down from top left to 1 in. from bottom of opposite side. For each heart, put 2 halves together on 1 serving plate. Spoon raspberry mixture over and around hearts. Garnish with mint, if desired.

Clay and Quinn are in the hospital from Katie shooting them, they wake up.
Quinn faces Katie one more time and gets her put into the hospital. "Im your storm"
Brooke and Julian plan their wedding and get married, and have twins.
Haley and Nathan complete their family by welcoming baby Lydia.
Quinn wakes up much faster from the shooting, and we thought we might lose Clay for awhile, but he came through.
Quinn to Clay: I love you so much, and this world is too big and its too dark, and its too much if you leave.

Clay and Quinn met when she moves to tree hill after she decides to leave her husband David.
Clay resists Quinn at first because he cant let go of Sarah his wife who he talks to for a whole episode before we realize she is dead!

She appears to be the most confident actress.
She causes Brooke and Julian a lot of heartache when they start working together on her script,
but when he tells her he does not love her and never will she does not take it very well.
I find myself wondering this season will Haley and Nathan ever get a break?
First a horrible woman named Renee tries to get money from them claiming Nathan fathered her child.
Later in the season her mom returns to tell her girls she is sick, and she dies in Tree hill
Brooke and Julian have lots of ups and downs this season.
Brooke thinks she is pregnant, but when she goes to find out she hears the news that she will not be able to ever be pregnant.
Alex tries to get with Julian this whole season.
But at the end Julian proposes to Brooke YAY!!!
Dan returns with a show "Scott free redemtion" ........oh and a new wife Rachel!

We begin this season with Lucas picking Peyton.......of course!
They have a beautiful wedding with Brooke and Nathan as the witnesses, and Haley as the officiant.
Karen comes and we find out that she has been with Andy yay!
The wedding night gave us all a scare with Luke finding Peyton on the floor in a pool of blood.
But thank goodness Sawyer was born healthy!
Brooke has a rough go this season starting with her getting beat up, and having all her designs stolen.
Things do turn around however, she meets Julian and they fall in love, at the end she goes to find him in LA
Sadly Jamies pal Q dies this season.
But happily Nanny Carrie dies too.
After she kidnaps Dan, and then has a showdown with Haley.
People we hate this season
-Nanny Carrie For creating problems with Nathan and Haley, and obviously kidnapping Jamie.
-Lindsay For getting in the way of Lucas and Peyton being together.
-Alice Because she is just gross
-Victoria She is so mean to Brooke
Lucas: Lemme ask you something. Do you have an alarm in your head that goes off every time I'm happy with someone else? Wht do you want from me? I fly to L.A., I ask you to marry me. You said no, so I moved on. Why haven't you?
Peyton: 'Cause I should have said yes. Luke, I was young. And was scared. And I did not realize that by saying I wasn't ready, it would mean that we would never be together again. Had i known that, I would have said yes.
Lucas: Peyton .....
Peyton: No, Luke, I miss you everyday. And i have told everyone here that I didn't come back for you. But I did. Ofcourse I did. I still love you lucas.

Peyton: Am I crazy? Do you not feel what I have felt every day that we've been apart for the last three years? Because I have felt there is this vital piece of me that's been missing. And I tried to fill it, Luke. I tried to fill it...with work and friends and music. And it stayed empty until last night when you kissed me. And my entire universe snapped back into focus. Lucas, look me in the eye & tell me that that kiss did not feel exactly the same as it felt three years ago.
Lucas: I'm in love with her, Peyton.
LUCAS'S BOOK: Peyton Sawyer is destined for greatness. Actually, she's already great, becaue Peyton Sawyer has a thing called integrity, and nothing and no one is ever going to change that.

Evil Nanny Carrie not only jumped in the shower with Nathan but she also kidnapped Jamie at Lucas and Lindsays wedding.
Luckily Dan finds Jamie and brings him back safe.
Nathan: How you sleeping these days?
Haley: So, so. Jamie tosses around like a Tasmanian devil
Nathan: He should probably get back to his own bed soon, the separation thing. Or he could sleep in the spare bedroom with me. You know, sometimes I find your goodness staggering. I didn't get to tell you in the session, but your kindness is overwhelming, Haley. You saved my life. And if I haven't said it lately, you're sexy as hell.
Haley: Hey. I was thinking um... not sleeping in this bed, might not be too bad tonight if you wanted to try it with me... Got anymore of that sexy talk?
Nathan: The kind stuff or the sexy stuff?

Sad moments this season
When Jamie falls into the pool, and Haley tells Nathan she wants a divorce.
At the end of this season we are left with Dan's pager for his heart going off right before he gets hit by a car,
and Luke calling someone asking to get married, who will it be?
Season four is a great season.
However I dont like to watch it most of it unless I have the lights on and the doors locked!
Matt Barr does such a great job being the discusting creeper that is Psycho Derek.
We Also find out that Haley is pregnant not Brooke!
Karen and Dan rekindle their romance until Lucas stops it!
Which angers me to no end! I really wanted them to get together again just for a while.

This season is filled with drama
With all the love triangles, cheating, weddings, drugs, and a pregnancy at the end, or is it two pregnancies........?

We get to see lots of Brooke and Lucas together who I adore as a couple
The rain episode is my fav from this season!

The school shooting was the most intense episode on this season
I think everyone of the actors did an amazing job in this episode
Who didnt get goosebumps or cry when God bless the child comes on? (the only song played on this episode)
I can still see Lucas carrying Peyton out of the school and Keith telling him he loves him one last time.
The love triangle between Lucas, Brooke, and Peyton pretty much is a main theme for this season

Shortbread cookies
This is my Grama's traditional shortbread recipe and no Christmas would be complete without them. There really easy and can be done with cherries or with sprinkles, so they are lots of fun for the kids to get their aprons on and help.

Candy Cane Cake
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup sifted cake or pastry flour
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 12 egg whites, at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 8 ounces peppermint candy canes
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- Preparation
- 1. Preheat oven to 325°. Sift together flour and 3/4 cup sugar. Sift again and set aside.
- 2. In a large bowl or standing mixer, beat egg whites until foamy. Add cream of tartar and salt. Beat until soft peaks form. Add 3/4 cup sugar and the vanilla and almond extracts. Continue beating until egg whites are firm but not dry.
- 3. Sift one-third of the flour-sugar mixture onto the egg whites and, with a rubber or silicone spatula, gently fold the mixture into the egg whites. Add remaining flour in two batches, folding gently after each addition. Turn batter into an ungreased 10-inch tube pan and bake until browned and firm to the touch, 50 to 60 minutes.
- 4. Invert cake (in pan) on a cooling rack for at least an hour. When completely cool, run a long, thin, sharp knife between cake and pan to loosen, and remove cake.
- 5. Put candy canes in a large sealable plastic bag. Crush them into small pieces with a meat pounder, rolling pin, or the bottom of a small frying pan. Sift crushed candy with a fine-mesh strainer and reserve candy dust for another use (see Notes). Set crushed candy aside.
- 6. In a large bowl, beat cream with remaining 1/4 cup granulated sugar until soft peaks form. Frost cake with whipped cream using a spatula to form swirls and peaks. Sprinkle frosted cake with crushed candy canes. (To get candy on the sides, hold your hand about 1 in. from the cake and gently toss crushed candy at the sides.) Serve immediately, using a serrated knife to cut slices.
PEPPERMINT COCKTAIL
Ingredients:
1/4 oz (1 1/2 teaspoons) Peppermint Schnapps
1/2 oz (1 tablespoon) Vodka
1 1/4 oz (2 1/2 tablespoons) Crème de Cacao
Garnish: 1 small peppermint hard candy
Special equipment: a cocktail shaker with cocktail strainer
Directions:
Fill shaker with ice cubes and add cocktail ingredients. Shake 15 seconds, and then strain into a Martini glass.
So easy you will only need sugar baby's half apron!!!

Clark: Oh, Eddie... If I woke up tomorrow with my head sewn to the carpet, I wouldn't be more surprised than I am now.
Alcoholic Eggnog Ingredients
6 eggs
2 extra egg yolks
4 cups whole milk
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup plus 2 Tablespoons of sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg
1 cup bourbon
Alcoholic Eggnog Directions
Start by whisking the eggs, egg yolks, sugar, and salt in a large pan until well-blended. Keep on whisking while you slowly pour in the milk until it is completely mixed-in. Next, set the pan on your stove's burner and turn it to the lowest possible setting. Continuously whisk ingredients for 25-30 minutes or until the mixture reaches 160°F and will coat the underside of a spoon.
Next, remove the mixture from heat and strain it into a large-sized bowl, making sure to get out any pieces of cooked egg. Now stir in the bourbon, vanilla, and nutmeg, and transfer your mixture to a covered dish. Refrigerate the mix for at least 4 hours before proceeding.
Finally, when you're ready to serve your eggnog with alcohol, grab the heavy cream and whip it well. Now just fold in the chilled mix, pour, serve and enjoy!
Makes 14 servings.
How to have a moist Turkey
Rub turkey cavity walls with 1/4 lb. butter. Add desired salt. Rub outside with salt and melted butter.
Wrap in heavy duty foil with edges on back of fowl.
Place brease down in baking pan. Bake at 250 degrees for 12 to 15 hours. The last hour of baking, turn turkey over, uncover and brown.
Note: Fat of fowls is on the back. Fat will drain down into breast making meat moist. No more dry turkey.

Keep you tree fresh until New Years!
Select the freshest tree possible. Ideally, buy one that is cut the day you bring it home.
Cut 1 inch off the base, place the tree in a bucket of water, and stand it in a cool, shady place if you don't plan to set it up right away.
Cut 1/2 inch to 1 inch off the base of the trunk when you bring it inside to set up.
Place in a tree stand that holds at least 1 gallon of water. Add plain water.
Water the tree every day.
Avoid allowing the water level to drop below the cut end of the trunk. If it does, a seal will form and prevent any more water from being absorbed by the tree. You'll need to make another cut in the trunk if this occurs.
Keep the tree away from the fireplace, vents and other sources of heat.
Clark: I simply solved the problem. We needed a coffin... Er, a tree. There are no lots open on Christmas Eve. Lewis burned down my tree so I replaced it as best I could. Voilà.

This cheery fellow won't have a chance to melt — he'll be gobbled up too quickly! And as is true of any snowman, dressing him is half the fun. We've suggested a few fashionably edible choices, but he's equally festive in other tasty apparel.

- 16 ounces cream cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 10 raisins for eyes, mouth, and buttons
- 1 piece of carrot for the nose
- 4 crackers for the hat (we used Ritz and Dare water crackers)
- 1 thyme sprig for the hat (optional)
- Strips of carrot for the scarf
- 2 broken pretzels for the arms
- 1 (1/2-inch) piece of a canned baby corn for the pipe
- Toothpick for the pipe

In a large bowl, let the cream cheese soften at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Stir in the garlic salt and the onion powder, then cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill for 2 hours.

Make the snowman by rolling two thirds of the cheese into a ball for his body and the other third into a ball for his head. Stack the balls, then add the facial features, clothing, arms, and pipe as shown. Serve with crackers or mini bagels.

All you need is:
A circular piece of styrofoam
a box of PINK christmas balls
and a glue gun.
Pink Lemonade Pound Cake
1 (18.25 ounce) package lemon cake mix
1 (3 ounce) package instant lemon pudding mix
4 eggs
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup pink lemonade concentrate
4 drops pink or red food color, optional
Glaze:
1 cup frozen pink lemonade concentrate, thawed
1/2 cup white sugar
Recipe
1) Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour one 10-inch tube pan or
bundt pan.
2) Combine the cake mix, lemon pudding mix, eggs, vegetable oil, 1/2
cup lemon concentrate and the milk. Mix until smooth. Pour the batter
into the prepared pan.
3) Bake at 350 for 50 minutes to 1 hour. If your oven runs hot be
sure to adjust accordingly!
Remove from oven and prick cake all over with a fork. Immediately
pour lemonade glaze over top of cake.
Let cake stand in pan until almost cool.
LEMONADE GLAZE:
Combine the remaining thawed frozen lemonade and the white sugar. Mix
thoroughly and pour over still warm cake.
