Two girls cooking wear Sugar BabyAprons
Two Girls Cooking is a company created by holistic nutritionists, with a lot of love for food and vibrant health. We believe that the human body is a self-healing and self-rejuvenating organism when given the proper tools and environment. We were completely frustrated with the fiber-less, sugar laden, hydrogenated, sodium infused, refined, unhealthy snack choices on the market. And from that frustration and passion Two Girls Cooking "Nutritious and Delicious" snacks were born. You can acquire optimum health through the use of live, enzyme rich foods that detoxify and renew the body and build all of its cells. Our products are developed using these principles to bring you delicious guilt-free treats!
What's the Deal with Our Crisps and Chips?
Two Girls Cooking RAW products are made in Canada with all Organic ingredients. Bringing it back to Canadian soil, our crisps and chips combine root vegetables, dark green leafy vegetables, sprouted seeds, gluten-free grains, dried fruits and a variety of flavorful herbs. Dehydrating our products below 115°F, all of the naturally occurring vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and deliciousness within vibrant whole foods are preserved. Dehydrating food dates back to biblical times, when it was a food preservation necessity and not a culinary delicacy. With modern methods of preserving foods (refrigeration, freezing, canning, pasteurizing and chemical additives), the ancient practice was almost lost. Thankfully, food dehydration is now making resurgence as one of the most nutritious, safe, and flavor-saving methods of food preservation.
As the seasons change, so do the tastes and textures of organic vegetables. As we do not alter what Mother Nature has provided us with, our all vegetable crisps and chips may alter slightly in flavour.
As well as creating delicious raw food snacks, we also share our knowledge of food and nutrition through interactive cooking demos, as well as nutritional consultations. Please refer to the Nutritional Services page.

Julie Daniluk Wears Sugar Baby Aprons
Julie Daniluk is excited that The Healthy Gourmet was chosen to be part of OWN (the Oprah Winfrey Network). Television viewers also recognize Julie from her “busted” segments on The Right Fit (W Network) and The Marilyn Dennis Show (CTV) where she examines the foods people need to stay healthy, acting as a nutrition encyclopedia. Her fun and engaging style comes in handy when she creates a recipe a week that is packed with health tips forwww.chatelaine.com.
After four years of rigorous theatre arts training, Julie found herself reading more about nutrition than about Shakespeare. That may be why she loves Sugar Baby Aprons so much. In her words, "Putting on a Sugar Baby Apron helps me feel the part of a wholesome yet sexy cook." She has an insatiable appetite for figuring out how and why food affects us so profoundly. She went back to school to become a nutritionist and a co-operative owner of one of Canada’s largest health food stores, The Big Carrot Natural Food Market. Julie was also health editor for Viva Magazine, a popular natural health publication with a circulation of over 120,000 coast to coast. As the W Network’s official online nutritionist for a number of years, Julie continues to answer diet and nutrition questions from viewers across Canada.
Julie’s food activism has led her to speak to Parliament about the potential health risks of genetically modified food. In order to bring food advocacy issues to a wider audience, Julie has been the event producer for festivals such as Bio-Diversity with David Suzuki and FoodShare's Field to Table Festival.
Julie’s search for nutritional understanding has taken her around the world. Her greatest joy to date has been cooking on the Greenpeace tall sailing ship, The Rainbow Warrior, during its GE-free New Zealand tour.
After many years of working on the front line of the nutrition field, Julie’s clients continue to ask for a menu-planning cookbook. Her soon to be published first book, Meals That Heal Inflammation(Random House), will help people enjoy allergy-free foods that taste great and assist the body in the healing process.
